1990 Civic Si Hatch, Rust Free, Unmolested. Build Thread
Second time posting a build thread, this time I will be extra careful not to mention any of the parts I'm looking for.
Purchased a 90 Civic SI, here's the first video, I'd write everything out again but IDFK if my topic will get deleted again.

It's rained, so the salt is off the road, and it's just started to warm up, so I got the civic out of hibernation and took it for an initial shakedown run on Friday:

^ front wheels are still backwards, haven't even washed the car yet, done basically NOTHING to this since I bought it except use some goo gone to remove the remnants of a sticker on the dash. It looks pretty good in this photo, but the paint is TERRIBLE. Good news is it's single stage, which is easy to fix.
Jacked it up, and pulled off the front wheels and confirmed my suspicions on the suspension; Koni+ Ground Control Coilovers, which imho, is pretty close to ideal for a street car.

Swapped the front wheels around, and gave it a bath. There was so much dirt pushed into the paint on this thing, and even after washing it, it was still disgusting:

That is nastiness IN the paint, and I scrubbed the hell out of the booty.
So I started polishing with 3m perfectit, a 3" HF polisher, and a 6" electric polisher:

Paint is coming back pretty nicely, and I'm sealing it with a few layers of Klasse Sealant. Looking decent! Would obviously look better if I paid some guy $2000 to tell me a bunch of marketing bullshit but hey, I digress. Total time spent was maybe 4 hours. Haven't done the roof yet, as it has some dents and it might make it more obvious.

Video to follow on the paint correction/sealing, along with all the parts I've acquired over the past few months. Wheels are in process as well, as I'm not a fan of these CRX wheels.

I think you need 30 post count.
Edit: Actually I'm not sure now because I just tried to post your pictures for you and they're not displaying on my post either - May be a problem with forum codes and imgur image embed.

Ok.... that's annoying. Anyway, UPDATE!
- Basic bitch maintenance, painted the calipers, replaced the hatch struts, swapped the wheels, and then decided to get this thing looking better; did a wash, scrubbed the hell out of it and the paint was still disgusting, however, I am pretty good at paint correction so I busted out the polishers with some 3m perfectit, and topcoated with Klasse AIO paint sealant. Results speak for themselves. I also touch on the the Tom's Racing Vestas I am going to be running on this car, and machining the rear of them for hubcentric spacers. The paint correction was night and day; it went from a dull white with dark stains/streaks to a BRIGHT, shiny, wet looking Frost White. I've been daily driving this car for a week now and it's fantastic!!! Oh yeah, also discovered it has Konis and Ground Control Coilovers! SWEET!

Update: Resto on these crazy rare wheels, civic is featured a lot in this:
These are now the only set of Tom's Racing Dishes machined with hubcentric spacers to fit on Hondas. Love them.
