My trunk light stays on even when is locked. I Just recently change the rear lock latch. The old latch doesn't fully close. The new one does it but The trunk light stays on. And when driving sometimes goes off and goes on. Is like sensor not detect. Any idea?

 

Possibly a faulty replacement tailgate latch or a wire short touching ground (pink wire on harness).

Re-check the latch install; for example, bolts and connector tight, etc. Examine wire harness.
