Took the needles off my fuel and temp gauge and replaced them and now they don't work. The needles seem stiff like there is friction on the needle base and the face plate maybe? Please help with any tips I can try. Oh BTW, I tried to take the needles off slightly to not rub the face plate but the needle just pops off. In case it matters, its a 98 civic ex. thanks.
