Default FITV adjustment ?

1995 Civic lx 5sp d15b7, Hey folks, So it was having an idle problem that turned out to be a leaky intake manifold. Now the car runs great, but when the engine is cold, the most the idle will go up to is MAYBE 1000 rpm. Im thinking that I should leave it alone, but then again its idle is too low when cold so therefore it should be a bit higher for quicker warm up. When I was hunting the idle problem, I bottomed out the FITV valve and dont remember how many turns it took to go all the way in. So a question is, do I unscrew the valve 1/2 turn and see what it does, or is it car specific, ORRR should I leave it alone, the car starts and idles perfect. Is there any detriment from a cold idle that is too low, The only thing I can think of is that it will take longer to warm up when its 0 degrees outside. I mean, the engine starts and cold idles great, nice strong idle, once warmed up it still idles great and the car runs perfect, just that the cold idle is not where factory set it. So is this even a problem.? If it is, I know its in the FITV and know how to adjust it, I just dont know how far to adjust it.
Sorry if I confused anyone with my rambling, im just as confused also
Thanks
Steve

Unscrew it 1 full turn at a time. Or as close to 1 full turn as you can.

The FITV's are originally calibrated for the car by factory. The automatic has a different FITV than the manual etc. But since it's been messed with. Just back it out until you have roughly 1300 rpm cold first start. Being you've already opened up the access cover, you know the two tiny bolts aren't seized and it's safe to go in an adjust until you are happy with it.

Glad it worked out well. I know I originally was concerned about this as it's all factory calibrated, but, it's also a discontinued part so we're gonna have to fiddle with them and get them as close to what we think it needs to be via trial and error.

Glad to see it can be done. Good job. Cheers.
