Some of the D series I-vtec engines seem very reasonably priced and should be a direct swap if I’m not mistaken.

Port and polish the head matching it to the intake.
Maybe a turbo.

DPFI to MPFI swap, relatively cheap, and tons of write ups and guides about it

MPFI as mentioned, intake and exhaust. The HKS Sport exhaust is a good fit for your engine and sounds great. Your options will expand if you convert to OBD1 and use a tunable ECU like Hondata S300 but that can get expensive. You could then save up for a turbo or do something like a VTEC head swap.

It would help to set a budget and goals. Once you start modding it will be hard to stop.

Is it a 5-speed? IMO, a 5-speed conversion would be the first thing I would recommend. Especially if you can get an L3/Si transmission. Even with DPFI it will feel peppy. After you have an L3/Si, do the MPFI conversion. Only then would I start looking for other performance modifications. The HP per $ return on upgrades to these cars is not worth it unless you start looking at nitrous or some kind of forced induction, but those typically break the bank. A small nitrous setup is honestly the best bang for the buck, but filling up the bottle will get old really quick.

I have the same car. If you go through with the swap, do make sure to swap out your front knuckles with ones from a DX / Si or CRX DX / Si. The 4-speed ones are too small for Integra axles. Read the FAQ about swaps, there's a lot of work ahead of you but it will be rewarding in the end.

The cheapest way out is an H2D adapter plate. Keep your transmission and stock knuckles and rock an H22A (200 hp). That's the cheapest option. Personally, it's not for me, but it's an option.
