Default New hand brake cables too tight

Hello, I have just done the standard del sol rear trailing arms swap onto my 95 eg to keep the 4x100 pattern but have disk brakes. As I found out the del sol hand brake cables are too short so bought new ones. The 12mm adjustment nut at the handbrake is completely loosened but the offside wheel is still binding (with handbrake down of course).

I at first thought the handbrake cables I bought may be the wrong type (here is the link https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/233724866448 and https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/333890523908) but the tabs to bolt to the body are correct so I don’t think they’re the wrong ones.

The only issue I can think of is that they are snagging somewhere so I’m going to take them off and re install them.

Is there something obvious I am missing?

Thanks!
