1992 civic hatch no crank, no fuel pump prime
hello, ive been loooking online like crazy and cant seem to find anything that helps. recently my civics fuel pump has stopped priming. ive checked the main relay, even bought a new one, tried a new ecu, even got one with hondata installed, checked all fuses that ive seen on forums to check. not having luck. my fuel pump is new and ive tested it by putting direct power to it. but the harness has no continuity, and the main relay as well has none, i also checked the ecu harness for continuity and none. ive checked and cleaned my thermostat ground, checked the ground under the driver seat, as well as checked the ground on the valve cover. my fuse box has 12v and continuity. but now the car wont crank over as well as no fuel pump prime. prior to the no crank i drove the vehicle around the block with direct power to fuel pump, this literally happened next day. im pretty stumped and i believe im having a ground issue. what are your guys opinion, as well as where should i look next? 1992 civic hatch with a jdm b20b low comp. p28 hondata s300 with stock b20 basemap
You already found your problems. No continuity means broken wire. You have multiple no continuities so you need to rip your harnesses apart to find and repair or replace the broken wires. This means tracing the wires through the harness until you find the area or areas affected.
