Hello-
Is there an inline fuse for the center brake light on a 2010 Odyssey?
I've pulled the bulb (which looks good) and used a multimeter while my wife hit the brakes. The two side brake lights come on, but I'm not seeing any voltage to the socket for the center bulb.
I've also looked through all the fuse boxes I can find, and am not seeing anything that would separate the center light from the other two. It looks like fuse #13 under the hood corresponds to "stop," which I assume would be all 3 brake lights.
I can see the socket is fed by green and black wires, but I haven't traced their paths yet. Headed toward looking into those next, but would appreciate any tips before I rip too much more apart.
Thank you!
Eric
No, there is no inline fuse for the center brake light.
The power to the center brake light runs through a couple of additional harness connectors (connectors C706 and C856). So, you may want to start testing for power at the MICU rear junction box; Connector H - Wht/Blk wire with the brake pedal depressed.
If there is power there, then the open (break) is in between.
I'm very happy to report that when I got to the MICU-Rear Junction Box, from picture 211 above, the #1 plug was just hanging loose. I plugged it back in, and all's well!
Kinda hard to believe that the center brake light was the only thing affected, but that definitely solved the problem. Thank you again, "tech8"!
