I am trying to change my brakes on my end 92 Honda Accord DX and I have already
disconnected everything I needed to in order to take it off but the big axle bolt in the middle will not budge even with 400 foot pounds of torque what can I do because I have to be able to drive to school starting Monday
You're best bet would be to put the wheel back on but keep the hub cap off. After that, use a cheater bar on a pretty beefy breaker bar to crack it off. Make sure to spray some decent quality penetrating oil beforehand as well to help yourself out.
You just have to use an impact gun on those f-ing bolts. You can get an electric impact gun from places like Harbor Freight for about $100. Breaker bars just don't seem to work in this case because it needs a hit to get it broken free. Just took those off a car the other day, and the impact just busts it off in 10 secs.
