i just swapped in the d16z6 into my 92 vx hatch but the only thing is is that it wont start. it cranks but wont start. i thought that maybe it might be the injectors but the sparkplugs are wet so that means that theyve been shooting fuel. i thught maybe it might be the coil in the distributor but i installed an MSD blaster external coil and it still wont run. the vx motor has an EGR valve by the fuel rail and the d16z6 doesnt so i just left the plug for it sitting there. i pretty much ran out of ideas. let me know what you guys think.

 

put the trans mount ground on and try it again

 

did you deal with the o2 sensor issue with the vx?

 

all the grounds are attached. is there an issue with the o2 sensor. i just stuck my vx one on and didnt get any codes. i just tried another distributor off my cousins 92 civic si and it still didnt work. what else can the problem be?

 

Are you getting spark? Is the distributor stabbed correctly?
