Hi Guys, I'm new to this entire forum looking for maintenance answers and your collective wisdom to fix up my car that I'm very attached to. At 114k only, my Acura was running fine until recently. 2 mechanic shops evaluated it and both gave me completely different diagnostic reports aka: nobody has a f&^% clue what's going on apparently unless my Acura spells it out in codes, it seems just a bunch of guesses from tranny to spark plugs, some things we already replaced. What has happened to real mechanics in our country who can listen to the car, drive it and be able to tell right away what's up without needing the codes. The more complex these cars get, the more incompetent the mechanics get, unable to keep up. Because I am the original owner, I know EVERYTHING there is to know about this car, every new sound or behavior, I pick up on it so am here to solve the mysteries of my loyal car with your help. I'll create a thread the moment this forum lets me, to keep it all together as I haven't seen specific "Acura CL 2001" thread on here.
