Oppss.. didn't take any pics.. Too busy taking pics of Ms. Skunk2.. hehehe, but it looks just like the other Skunk2 intake mainfolds.

 

Any one who went to sema get any further info on the JG/Edelbrock intake manifold? I think I might hold out for it over the skunk 2.

 

looks like ..hmm... how about the EGR.. is it on it or disabled.. is the runners longer or shorter, similar to EURO-type or or not.. injector placement at a 45 degree cut angle or 60 degree... pictures are worth alot that's why i'm curious... also about plenum size.. meaning whould it flow more or not etc...

 

the skunk2 looks like the euro-r manifold, it just made so that you don't have to modify anything for it to work,

 

does it flow better ... is it proven or hype.. how about specs on it.. surely somebody at sema paid attention to this...

 

it eliminate the secondary butterflies... you lose mid range and low end, but you gain in high end

 

I don`t know what`s the big deal about loosing a little bottom end... i`ts not like the end of the world.. you have to sacrifice something to gain another...

I don`t mind loosing donw low... after all we start with almost 30fpounds of trq than b series so what`s a couple pounds....

you`ll more than make up for it top en wise.

no pics. i talked to a guy in the skunk booth at nopi nats. he said it should be ready some time in jan.03

they must be rare in the states (digital`s hahaha)

well if somebody happened to trip on a cord while walking to the skunk2 booth and accidentally had their camera pointing at the manifold and took a pic , don`t be shy to show us the manifold...

although i could duplicate the outside of that one fairly easy i double the inside would match their ventury plates.. i`m wondering if that would flow for N/a to make power over a stock unit to the expense of torque...

 

N/A and that manifold don't even need to be in your head at the same time

Looks like they did not provide a spot for the EGR... Good for intake gasses, but it may cause a problem w/states that require a working EGR when smog time comes along.
