I want to put a B18A swap into my 89 Civic LX, but I don't want to spend a lot of money. Where can I find one?

 

Hasport mount kit+ Larry at import auto salvage has good bargins on Used honda motors...1800-962-8922 or check out Japan Direct... in Raleigh NC. they offfer good prices too.

i thought the hasport mounts were guarenteed for life. did you try contacting brian at hasport? hes a great guy im sure he'll work on something with you, thats if you havent already bought some new mounts.

 

Haven't done that yet. I've been waiting for Hybrid Garage (where I bought the mounts) to send me replacement bushing's since Oct. 24..... But I guess I'll have to go to the source shortly.

 

i have a complete 1990 integra gs which i am told has a b18a1, the motor and tranny are great, the car was in an accident and declared totalled, the drivers door was cut off by an eager emergency crew member by the jaws of life...the interior is all there minus the seats....car had 94k miles on the till when it was wrecked and runs great e mail me at LilViper95@aol.com if you are interested

 

Man, you should visit Florida. I've seen plenty of fast *** POS Honda's. There's a Blue Rex with a crushed rear quarter and weathered paint riding around with a boosted b16. There's a 92-95 Civic hatch that all the 8's want piece of, And that car doesn't have a straight body panel on it. The hood looks like it's been popped up more than once while hallin some ***, both edges of the hood by the ends of the windshield are bent all the hell up. Yet, everyone who's seen it run the 8's and v-10's droll's over that POS. But then again, you say don't mod the beater...................

My Place mounts line the motor a little forward in the engine bay, and they are stout as hell though. I reccommend them.
