Hey guys. What will I need to bolt a b16 into a 92-95 delsol? are the motor mounts the same or do I need dohc vtec units from the usdm car? how about wiring? I think I can use the stock wiring and just run the missing wires.. Is that right?

I have a 95 del sol and i swap a ls/vtec swap in..It's basically the same as the b16...You'll use the del sol top engine mount, tranny mount, and rear mount...You'll need a gs-r side trans mount and 95 del sol vtec a/c bracket mount...The wiring is the same and all you need to do is add the vtec wires, vtec oil pressure switch wires, and knock sensor(p61 or p30 ecu)....Have fun and I hope that help..

thanks that does help. When you say a del sol vtec ac bracket.. I thought even the base delsol was sohc vtec. I assume you mean the dohc vtec right? What will I need for axles? I have found good information on hasport and hybrid but I am trying to get a complete price figured out before I start.

he means the DOHC DELSOL A/C mount, not the SOHC VTEC A/C mount (its too small for a B-series engine).

You can also use these mounts from a 94-01 integra:

- front tranny mount
- rear engine bracket (black T shaped mount)
- A/C mount
- complete axles w/intermediate shaft

You'll have to look for a DOHC DELSOL B-series shift linkage as well! they're designed differently than the Integra shift linkages.

- You can retain your SOHC top tranny mount; its compatible with any B-series hydro transmission.
- you can also retain your existing delsol engine harness; kudos if you own an Si/SOHC VTEC delsol too, that engine harness is perfect to use.
