P1457 Code 99 Honda Civic Lx
Man, I can't catch a break with this damn car. It's one thing after another. I guess the vapor canister/ Valve is bad. I can't find it, I'm looking underneath my car by the gas tank, and I don't see it. Do any of you guys know where it's located? I hope it's not hidden and a pain in the *** to get to.

Error code P1457 - HELP!! (solved) - Honda-Tech - Honda Forum Discussion (honda-tech.com)
Thanks for the video, I guess I was looking in the wrong spot. I took it to Honda for them to analyze and my valve assy, purge control solenoid is stuck open. They gave me the part number and told me the price. 300 freaking dollars. I looked up the part number and says it's located under the hood near the throttle body for some reason. I looked it up on Honda's estore and the diagram is of the Throttle body area. I thought EVAP stuff was underneath the car, I don't know if any EVAP stuff is under the hood. I ordered the part with part number they gave me, so I hope its the right part, I'm gonna be pissed if it's not correct.

Ok, so maybe you can help me out here. I was just looking under my hood to try and find the location of this part. My EVAP canister is under my hood under the fuel filter, but I can't find the purge solenoid assembly. I looked by the battery tray and I didn't see anything unless it's under the tray. Here is the diagram from Honda's website that I have been looking at for my car layout. In the diagram it's number 11 that is the part I'm trying to locate.

I found it. It's on the left side of the throttle body right on top. Very easy to get to. 2 screws and a couple of hoses. Once I receive the new part from Honda I'll replace it. It's probably a 10-15 min job.
