Default Tps trouble

Tps has 12v supply! I just swapped a 97 h22 into my 2000 ej8 y8 obd2b. I cant figure out what is going on. I've deloomed the engine harness and cant find any exposed or pinched wires. I dont have the map and tps mixed up either. Please help!

Could be a problem with the ecu sending 12V out a driver that is supposed to be 5V. Have you checked the supply voltage @ other sensors to confirm they are the 5V they are supposed to be?

so I found out that my ecu ground to the thermostat housing needed a good sanding. So once I did that I got a correct reading.
