I bought a 2000 Honda Civic EX Manual trans and its had a weird stumble hesitation while accelerating (usually around 3k rpm) and feels really weak going up hills. Got a code reader and came up with just a P1362 code and from what I have read the sensor it refers to is built into the distributor, so I bought a new distributor and the issue didnt change and the code came back. When I bought the car there was some sus wiring and I discovered that a remote start was put in but had been disconnected. Is there somewhere in the wiring I should check that might be compromised and cause the sensor to throw that code? or can something not related to the distributor throw that code?
