9th Gen Accord Transmission filter?
own used 2013 Accord sport, 4 cyl, CVT., 190K mi. Since 100K, I change(drain/refill) cvt fluid every 25Kmi, use oem and follow all steps (gear shift, check level). I feel, transmission very lightly acting, like from high speed to sudden low speed I feel slight jumpy feel that never experienced before. A friend of mine advised to change transmission fluid (cooler) filter when on next cvt fluid drain/refill. i have some questions;
a) should I change trans cvt fluid (cooler) filter ?is this maintenance item?
b)any 3rd party cat converter u can recommend? (CEL must be off due to state regulations)
c) past 3 yrs, 90K mi, never changed brake disc(rotor). I believe previous owner also didnt. is this OK? or should i replace on next break pads replacement time?
thanks in advance

We bought a Civic w CVT this past December. (1) Planning to chg. transmission and filter when I get closer to 40,000 km (24,855 mi). I intend to chg.both yearly or every 25,000 miles.
(2) No help on converter. We can occasionally find one at Kenny's U-Pull. Kennys is a salvage yard chain. You unbolt the part you want and pay for it. You have to be quick as many people just saw off the converters for the scrape value of the platinum inside. (3) Use a good vernier caliper (Mitatoya is professional grade) to confirm thickness and uniformity of discs. The dealer or U-tube can supply minimum thickness specs. I suspectthe rotors are due for replacement. Just my opinion but either Honda or Raybestos replacements might fit well and last another 90,000 miles?
