Hey all, thanks in advance for any advice and or suggestions. I have a coolant leak on the drivers side back of the engine block. Thought it was a freeze cap until I got my phone back there to take a picture, it's a very small hole that sits above the freeze cap I believe. I've done a good bit of searching around, and am unable to identify what this is called to get a replacement cap/plug. Guys at the local auto parts store have no clue, gave me a freeze plug kit with a bunch of plugs to try, all of them too large.

 

Can you zoom out and take another picture to help with perspective of where it's located? I know the pipe that runs back there, but this looks a little different. Is it next to the knock sensor?

 

That's the weep hole for your water pump. Your water pump is in the process of failing and needs replacement.

I feel silly I didn't recognize that myself.

If you are in there, you might want to just do everything, water pump, timing belt, seals.

Aisin kit with water pump is the one I used the last time.
