Engine Compatibility Question on 2006
Hi everybody,
New to this forum and had a question about engine compatibility. I'm tracking down an engine for a friend of mine that has a 2006 Honda CR-V. I have found a 2003 Honda CR-V engine, and I'm wondering if it is compatible. The VIN on my friend's CR-V is JHLRD78936C043944. Thanks for any info!

05-06 are the same. They went to drive by wire and a few different sensors for that refresh.
If you strip everything off the 02-04 and put all the accessories from the 06 on you could make that work. The blockand head are the same.
