I have an 89 Honda accord LX-i with a F22A6 and I plan on getting a turbo for it however, the gears in my stock tranny are so short it wouldn't be too worth it. I have a 99 accord lx with a blown up f23a1 and the gears are noticeably longer. I've been trying to find out if this is a bolt on ordeal because I've read people saying that it is with all of the f series but then I've also seen quite a few people say this swap only works with the F22B so I don't really know what to believe. And if it is bolt on will i need to swap flywheels too. Only asking because I know the spline count is different and I think the f23 clutch and flywheel are larger in diameter so will they even fit on the f22a6. Any info helps and is appreciated.
