Default Honda civic lx 08 bank 1 lean

Hey i was wondering if anyone has had 2 codes that come up and then disappear every other day. Im having an issue with a 61-1 battery voltage malfunction and a p0171 code bank 1 system running lean code. The battery is good the alternator is good the starter is good. I was told by honda that they were codes that represented the same problem

The problem being that i needed a new MAF ( mass air flow sensor) which i replaced at O'Rielly's for cheaper than they want to do at honda. Then the. Next day my engine light came back on. With what you ask, THE EXACT SAME CODES!!! So first before calling up honda and ask why this is i went back to O'Rielly's. When i got there the told me that its possible but extremely rare that they gave me a bad MAF which i bought new instead of the refurbished ones that they are selling for 3 dollars less.

They said for peace of mind you us and you as well will swap it under warranty. So i swapped. I thought ok all is done later that day wont you. Know the engine light is back on. GREAT! So now i go back to O'Rielly's to see what the hell is going on. They tell me well it cant be the part' this is your second one. I said, "exactly". So its time to call up honda. They tell me to bring the car back in and get it re checked. I said fine and two days later im checking the problem with honda. But that morning when i woke up prior to heading to honda my civic turned the engine light off so im sitting here confused and when i get in to honda they said that the codes had been erased by the guys at O'Rielly's. Which i already know that, that is against there store policy. So i told them that they said, "well the codes have been erased come back when the light is on."

WHAT DO I DO. HAS ANY ONE ELSE HAS THIS PROBLEM BEFORE. I NEED HELP!!!!!
P.S. all vacuum lines are fine they said maf sensor was inop before the replace.
