I have a 07 so that I blew the motor in k20z3 so I'm putting in a k24a2 I want to know will the extras from my previous motor work on the new one ? Like headers , intake all that kind of stuff and did I make a good motor choice?

 

Excellent engine choice. You will need a CRV engine bracket or equivalent (K-Tuned, P2R, etc.), a longer serpentine belt, and you will have to lengthen and change the engine harness clip for the crank position sensor. As for your header, it likely will not work because of the increased deck height of the K24 block... you may be able to make it fit based on what it contacts when installed. A K24 specific header for a FA/FD application makes things easier. Since you will be using the Si intake manifold, your intake will fit.

You may also have to modify your heater hoses if you do not swap the hard lines and cylinder head coolant housing from the K20Z3.

 

With the k24a2 engine am I going to feel the vtec kick in like I did with the k20z3 ?

 

It depends on the tune. It can be made to "feel" like the K20Z3.

Another question about the VSA its locked up cant do anything with it how do I reset it do I have to have exact stock tires cause right now I have 225/45/17 on it stock calls for 215/45/17 what do I gotta do
