Default Finally! found issue and the green key light

The green key light would blink five times when I turned the ignitions to off. When tuning it to the second position it would come on for a few seconds and go out. After searching internet and forums I found my answer in the accord service manual. It is normal response from the Responder Key system. I had 5 keys and remotes. So I was having a round with musical chairs with remotes. To program them I had to have them all together and program each while the key is still in ignition. With the doors closed turn the key to the poison prior to start I think it is position 2 the green key light will come on click the lock button on the remote the turn to the key off position. Do this 5 time in quickly. The Fifth time you’ll hear the responder lock the doors click the unlock button on remote then turn the key off position and click the remote if it works it’s programmed. If you have more do them now while your key is still in ignition. If your remove the key then you will have to program them all over again. One thing I can’t stand about the responder system is that it auto locks the vehicle if you get out and close the door. Make certain you have your keys or leave windows down. I found the hard way. Luckily I had a spare set in my truck.
