Just bought a used keyless remote for my 99 Accord. Does anyone know how to program it? I tried the "put ignition on II, press unlock or lock, shut off. do this four times." tried it and nothing. Any sugestions?

 

turn key to ON position, press lock, turn key OFF.

repeat 2 more times.

turn key to ON position, press lock button, should hear the acuator make a faint buzz noise, hold down the lock button for 5 second, turn key off.

now it should be programmed and ur set.

 

if it is the correct remote. get in car, shut all doors. cycle key to ign. II, hit lock button on remote. cycle key off. back on ign. II , hit lock button on remote, off, back on to ign. II, lock on remote, off with key, this last time put it on ign. II, hit lock, should hear locks cycle in car, if you do have another remote, at this time hit lock on it. turn off, remove key and try before opening doors. let me know
