Crawl underneath the car and take pictures and try and see where the oil is coming from.

It probably is the balancer shaft seal popped out. There was a Honda service bulletin regarding the seal decades ago, where the dealer replaced the seal (if seal is bad) and installed a retainer.

For something like that, if nothing was hit like debris in the road, makes sense it's something like a seal popped off or the oil pain bolt wasn't on tight and fell off. It's doubful if you didn't do anything it would simply grenade itself. But you will have to get underneath to take a look. As said, take some pics and thenwe can see what it is.

Maybe it won’t be anything bad. However my luck is rarely good. No I haven’t hit anything or bottomed out. The only thing that has happened is the oil light flashed about 5days ago and I checked it but the dipstick read full level so I figured it may have been due to the way I was sitting in leve and idling while waiting for my friend to come outside because that’s the only day i seen that happen. Thank you everyone for responding to me and I will post pictures first thing in morning.

Any progress?

If your Accord is the 4-cyl, here's a picture of a balance shaft seal retainer on my H22 so you know what to look for; should be the same on your car's F-series engine. The plastic timing covers need to be removed to see in there; maybe you can get away with just pulling the upper cover and look down there with a flashlight so you don't have to remove the crank pulley if you don't need to. If this is what happened to you, make sure to get an OEM retainer. I first tried an MTC brand retainer because for some reason I must have thought the OEM part was discontinued, but it was shaped poorly and didn't fit.

My opinion is the likely cause of the leak will be due to the balancer shaft seal backed out. The thing is that the seal location is behind the lower timing belt cover; so, you won't be able to see the seal without removing the lower cover. Refer to this image which was from the service bulletin link I posted in my previous post. You could look in that general area though.

This link shows different photo perspective of the area with the timing cover removed.

According to this thread, not all D-series engines had balance shafts, but the EX (and Si) model did: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-...shaft-2150951/

The only way to confirm is to see if your engine has a secondary belt under the timing cover similar to the one in the photo in my last post. Small oil leaks are common on old cars, though. It could be a number of things. Since you don't state whether your leak is known to be coming from the engine itself, start by taking a good look at the fluid and making sure it's engine oil, and not transmission oil or power steering fluid.

I just took these and they are from the top of the motor and there’s a lot of oil around that thing as you can see. Not sure what that is. But there’s definitely no oil on the dipstick so it’s definitely oil

Will it pop out to the inside toward the motor or to the outside towards the belts? Because I see oil all around it but I don’t see a seal or anything popped out toward the belt

Based on your photos, I would say it is due to the balancer shaft seal. It will pop out toward the belts.

You drain bolt and oil filter is not the cause.

I'm having same issue on my 95 accord, not as bad as those pictures. But I'm not even sure it's oil, isn't oil black on white concrete? Because the very small amount of fluid leaking doesn't look like oil. Looks different & there will be a concentrated drop on concrete that has a circle around it of same fluid only lighter, like concrete absorbed it or something.

UPDATE❗️✋🏻

meanwhile i still sit here trying to figure out what to do. I don't have much luck with people doing what they say. Of tge 3 coming to look at it over the past 7 days only one actually showed up. While we were under the car he told me to check and make sure that the fluid on the passenger side bottom is oil too, i got some on my hand & discovered that it's not only the oil thats fell out but red transmission fluid too. I bought the balance shaft seal and it was delivered yesterday but he said he doesn't think that's it. Lord, when it rains... I'm so stranded and don't know where to go from here

Have you called your Honda Stealership and quoted the TSB to see if they will do it as a courtesy? If not you need someone who is familiar with Honda's so they can get the Crank Pulley off and know what torque etc putting it back on etc.

🚧 update time📌
my friend from the army came home and he came over last night to look at my sounds car that I have somehow managed to let "fly all to hello"😒
He first put 3 quarts of oil in it because as you know every drop of oil in it was on the ground the other day. He told me to start it up but I was envisioning the fact that if I cranked it up it would be for the last time. he said he would suck in combat, just start the kids car. It fired right up and purred like a kitten. Nothing happened for about the first 20 seconds but once I stepped out of the car to get under there with him he started yelling "KILL IT KILL IT" all three quarts of oil came pouring out. I got under there and he showed me where it's coming from and I do mean it was pouring out like there was no tomorrow. He said that it is either the cover which is plastic and could have possibly cracked or it's the front seal. It is right there where the belts are running just to the inside. Now he's going to be leaving again tomorrow therefore I am again on my own with it. I'm guessing that cover would have to come off. When I bought the car from The Man told me that they had already replaced the timing belt. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated because I have no clue whatsoever where to go from here.
