Crv 98 overheating issue
Dear All member happy to join your forum and I need some help please
I have CRV 98 model , the issue is overheating sometimes when the wither is too hot ( over 40+ )
Its get overheating in parking and while driving also , Sometimes I turn it off and park it for few minutes then It will be OK
What I did :
Cleaned the radiator in the radiators shop
removed the thermostat
changed the radiators cap
removed the coolant water and added green water
fans is working properly
I can see the water moving fine inside the radiator
Still overheating in hot weather
Whats next to do to check the issue
Question ( If there's head-gasket air leak the car will get overheating all the time or sometimes ) ???
Thanks in advance

Did you mean you replaced the thermostat?
when you say coolant is " moving " ..is there bubbles or surges of coolant visible in the radiator?
Did you have a cooling system pressure test done? It should hold 14 pounds of pressure unless there's a coolant leak at the head or head gasket.

I'm voting blown headgasket. Do a compression test.
Depends how low you the coolant gets. But a blown head gasket will bring a temperature up on the engine quickly because the pressures of combustion will quickly get into the cooling system. I've also had it where the vehicle is drivable however you get white smoke coming out the tailpipe is the coolant is being consumed during the combustion process. That is another question what is your tailpipe emission look like. With the radiator cap off and the engine hot and the head gasket blown you'll also see bubbles popping in the radiator cap area with the cap off and maybe even some exhaust Vapor coming up.
You really need to just spend some time doing a diagnostic and don't be guessing. Two things you can do:
1) you can pressure test the cooling system it should hold 14 PSI pressure and not drop if it's dropping that means you got a coolant leak. I have not seen that you've written that you smell coolant so my gut is is that you don't have a breach in the cooling system externally but more a breach in the cooling system internally. You've mentioned that you're losing coolant but you didn't mention that you see or smell coolant. That usually means that it's being drawn in through the head gasket and pushed out through the tailpipe.
2) pull the spark plugs really examine them all and see what they look like; if you're consuming coolant through combustion you'll see one or more spark plugs that looks like it's been steam cleaned.
Squirt oil in the cylinder and do a wide open throttle compression check..( disable the fuel delivery first .. easiest to unplug the injectors or pull the fuel pump fuse. )
It really sounds sounds like the head gasket, And that's not uncommon
