Default 94 lx vtec conversion

I have searched for weeks now and I'm almost positive I know what the issue is but can I have a real answer on this. I have a f22b2 block in my 94. I also have an ex block wiring harness and ecu but the crank is bad on the ex. So I installed the ex wiring harness ecu head and the car fires just fine. I'm spitting code 21 vtec solenoid. Do I have to change pins on the ecu for the vtec to engage correctly? I know this is a good solenoid have tested and cleaned it. I cant remember but I seen someone say that everything I did is correct except a pin swap? I cant find that page and or anymore about it. I have lots of experience on these cars. So if anyone has done it this way and knows the answer or can point me to the correct thread that would be amazing. Thanks in advance!

Default Re: 94 lx vtec conversion

So upon more research I found I need to run the wire from the shock tower to the ecu I believe pin a4 green/yellow is this the only wire or will I need a ground for anything?
