2006 Civic 1.8L Random misfire
Hello everyone.
my car Sat for a few months and when I went for a drive and stopped to fuel up. A short time after that day it started bucking and stalling on idle. Eventually the engine light came on and I scanned it. It came up random misfire on all cylinders PO 300 for one of the codes and the rest were PO 301 on up to #4.
I pulled the plugs and seen they all had dry black soot on them so I installed new plugs. I also cleaned the throttle body and mass air sensor .
I still have the problem. It's fine in high rpm driving but below when I try to excelorate it bucks / shakes and will stall.
Could a worn timing chain cause this or what else should I try? Much appreciate any advice.
