On OBD1 ECUs, ecu codes are thrown via the flashing check engine light. A long flash is a 10 and a short flash is 1. So sounds like it's throwing a code 11. According to another thread, it has to do with an IMA sensor.

The IMA sensor manages how much CO is in the exhaust using the O2 sensor as a guage.

Since you didn't mention what ECU you are running, its a guess, but my money is on that you have an ECU looking for an IMA sensor, and a car that doesn't have one.

Your options are to get a different ECU that does not expect an IMA sensor, or do the work to install the IMA sensor the ECU is looking for.

to go obd1 from obd0 is not only changing out the ecu
you also need the distributer
and the 4 wire 02 sensor

the code your getting sounds like its because the 02 sensor is either not hooked up
or it isnt workin right
thats where i would start looking if it were me

good luck

Yes, I change distributor and put 4 wire O2 sensor, I use speed factory harness, maybe I not find exactly wich cables going to o2 sensor
