Fuel Hose leak on 98 civic sedan ex
I tried searching already for this but if anyone can link me to another post about this or help out id really appreciate it.
So my fuel hose is rusted out and leaking (slow drips) not the hard lines its the rubber hose that comes down from the gas cap and connects to another rubber hose (via a clamp) that then goes into the actual tank. I know i probably have to drain the tank and then disconnect it from the second hose to replace the piece of hose but then what? I couldn't see too much further back up the rusted hose to see where or if it connects at the top.
Side note, i always run with half a tank and finally decided to fill up completely yesterday and just now noticed the leak. Im guessing some fuel is going back to the hose and thats why it's only now leaking. Ill try to take pictures in a bit if its of any help. Thanks again.
