Is this gsr head still usable
I have this head and I wonder if it still is usable in this shape or if it will need machining work done to it

No...however, it looks repairable.
bring it to a machine shop and see what they say.
may be more cost effective to purchase a replacement

That's 100% repairable but only by a expert. Ive seen Joe fix heads 3x as worse as this! contact Joe Alaniz asap,

That's easily repairable if you want to spend the money getting it welded and machined.
