Default ABS LIGHT ON

Before anybody asks, yes I have searched, and searched and searched, and searched, so either Im stupid and missed it or the answer I am looking for is not there.
So I have a 1997 Honda Del Sol Vtec and the abs light stays on. I have pulled the code which I can not figure out what the code number is. When I put the jumper wire
in the diagnostic connecter the abs light will have 1 long flash, long pause 1 long flash, long pause, 1 long flash and that is it. I have read that to read the code it may have 1 or more long flash followed by some quick flashes and that is what the code is example 31 three long flashes and 1 short flash, but all I get is 1 long flash.

I also found an abs diagnostic flow chart that stated to start with removing the abs pump relay and installing a jumper wire and see if the pump comes on and if it does and you do not loose any fluid then check continuity for the pump pressure switch. The pump does come on, but there is no continuity through the pressure switch. That beimg said, per the flow chart that means its a bad abs pump pressure switch. Before I go pulling out the abs pump assembly to change the pressure switch I was hoping somebody with experience would chime in and let me know if I am headed in the right direction.
Any additional guidance will be greatly appreciated.

The only experience I have is that I have an EG w/ ABS. I don't think many of us do.

Just to confirm, you need to remove the ABS pump ***'y to replace the pressure switch? This means disco'ing the hard lines, eh? Which means bleeding off the pressure first, yes? Not sure how to to do that?

Have you ever found a way to bleed the ABS unit? I know there is a SST for cycling the ABS while bleeding, but how do us folks w/o the SST bleed the ABS?

I am pretty sure you have to pull the abs I pump assembly to get to the pressure switch. The biggest thing I was wondering was what does the abs code mean. Just 1 long flash. If im not mistakin it means pump ober run but the pump does not run, possible cause id the pressure switch. Man I really dont feel like removing the abs pump assembly.

Code 1 fix right here. It's not pretty. Yes, I've done it, and it worked properly for a while, until I parked the car for a spot and it came back. I found a replacement pump for cheap cheap, have not installed yet though.
