Default Got a FREE car

So a buddy of mine, messages me on facebook and tells me his wife has been on his *** about getting the backyard cleaned up. Ok, so....? Do you want a free car? I have a 93 Del Sol sitting back there. It ran when I parked it but it hasn't been touched in at least 1.5-2yrs. 2 days and an hour drive later, I've got a free car, with NO CLUE what to do with it. As of right now, I'm thinking clean it up to make it look decent and do something simple like a B16/GSR swap and call it a day. ideas? I'm open to all suggestions.

Turbo B16a is always good. Reasonably affordable swap and turbos are so cheap now.

I went the all motor route in my free EK. Once I run it down the track I might change the stroke and add a turbo.

I wish I had friends that would just give me a free car. Important question is....are you mechanically inclined? If so...Fix it up and just drive it.

That's awesome. The unfortunate part is Honda is discontinuing parts for all the 90's vehicles as we speak both in USA and Canada. As the parts sell out, they don't seem to be bringing in more even from other manufacturers. Restoring the car is becoming ever increasingly difficult as the days and months go on.

agreed. Luckily so far everything I’ve looked for to fix what’s broken is apparently easily available still minus the rear bumper cover. Can’t seem to find one of those.

That's good, except the rear bumper. Hopefully to maintain the good fortune on finding parts as needed.

After sitting for a few years, the DelSlo is runnig. No Check Engine Light or anything. Now to get my plan together and figure out what I want to do with it. As good as its running, I'm thinking I'm gonna leave the D15 in it that it has and focus on body/suspension/Interior.

I'd clean it up and sell it, this is the time, lots of people looking for a good used car with no car payments.

Just my thoughts on it. Not that they are worth anything.

the Wagovan is stock and mint. It’s staying that way. The sol is already been gone through so it’s getting the treatment
