Hello guys! Let me get straight to the damn thing:
For some reason, my left cv axle keeps “disconnecting” from the transmission (see photos and video for better understanding). Initially I thought it was the transmission itself, after opening it I saw that all 5 bearings were damaged (moving the axis and everything when running), but I fixed and it keeps happening! I really don’t know what could cause this, please give me some light before I get crazy with this **** :s
I am not an expert, so, I am pretty sure that I recorded/took photo of the wrong thing. Basically, what happens when it disconnects is that the car won’t move even when engaging a gear. The "disconnection" happens right where the cv boot (44018-SR3-C03) is. Lucky enough, I am able to "connect" it again by turning and hitting it with a hammer. I really hope all of this makes sense to you, somehow.
The model is a 92-95 Civic Sedan EX (D16Z6), swapped to manual.
Thanks in advance and sorry if you see some English mistakes, not my native language.
Try another axle. There are THREE reasons why this is occurring: 1) The axle is incorrect for the application and is actually too short. 2) The axle inboard joint snap ring isn't staying inside the differential, allowing the axle to "pop" out. 3) The groove inside the differential is damaged and the axle will not stay locked into the transmission.

Thanks a lot man! I will give it a try. By the way, any recommendations on aftermarket axles? I might need to import one since Brazil's aftermarket for 90's Hondas is really bad.
all the aftermarket ones even in the US are hit or miss, I have had bad ones straight out of the box
I think raxles and drive shaft shop seem to be what the high horsepower guys seem to go with, maybe some others will chime in
I am stock power, so I use the cheapo auto parts store replacements with a lifetime warranty, if you go with these more than likely you will get good at changing them lol, sometimes you get lucky and they last a while
^this , I use the hub almost like a hammer to seat the axle in the trans, it should kinda snap in, check the clip on the end too, to make sure it is there and not stuck compressed
Also, another trick it to put a little axle grease on the spline where the c-clip sits, then you can center it pretty decently in the groove and the grease will hold it. This helps to keep the clip from catching severely preventing the full insertion. Without the grease the clip tends to hang as low as possible in the groove pushing the bottom side out enough to be a nuisance and a significant snag on the edge upon insertion.
Definitely check to make sure you even have the clip/snap ring on, and that it is functioning. It's the cause I've seen most often when helping others with "loose" axles. Either it didn't get pushed in all the way, or the clip was lost when it was removed and re-inserted.
