Default P28 Burnt Chip on board, need help identifying (solved+symptoms+solution)

I'm not trying to fix, just wondering what this chip is, what it does, and how to prevent this in the future, P28 on an OBD2A to OBD1 conversion harness, wideband wired into D14, professionally modified to accept a real time tuning chip (s300) before purchase. Symptoms: car will randomly misfire under acceleration, light throttle is fine, but hard throttle causes misfires. Solution: replace tps sensor and ECU with functional RM2 resistor bank.

Q31 has already been removed, here's a close up of what I'm talking about, it's nothing to do with Q31.

RM2 is a resistor bank inline with the TPS and EGR circuits.

My bad, I was scrolled down a bit and only saw the missing Q31.

It's all good, I should have circled it, thanks for replying anyways, I wish it was a blown Q31, snip snip and good to go.

Did you manage to fix the RM2 resistor?

Has anyone fixed this if so where did you get the resistor from I’ve found a few different ones online but I’m not sure how trusted they are
