OT: Japan parts run
My friend Hiromi and I are going to Japan for the new years (or shortly thereafter) and we are thinking of picking up a bunch of car parts to sell back here in the states. What are some things that people would want?
On the flip side. What are they crazy about right now? I know some Japanese will pay top dollar for Levi Red Tags, but that market is preaty dry now due to oversaturation. Plus, she says that the jeans have to be perfect for people to buy. Any ideas?

i've got a really good idea for you. I went to Japan last year and my friends brought these shoes called wheelies. which are the shoes with wheels on the back. Since tha Japanese people are so trendy they loved the shoes and since they don't sell them there, we were offered over 200 US dollars for the shoes. So if you want to make more money than selling cocaine, bring a lot of these shoes to Japan and sell sell sell. Remember that Japanese people have small feet. Won't be selling to many size 11's. If you make a lot of money using my idea, I wouldn't mind you getting me the SRS MOmo for a slightly discounted price

I bet you ten bucks he's going to bring back a bunch of EK9 wheels

If you want to make some money, you should invest in a bunch of levis. Over there levi's are so expensive and the damn japs eat em up.

Skafia: She tried the levis thing and it backfired. They are too picky about it and there are a lot of people that already do it.
Is that the CTR or the ITR momo? They look a lot alike. How can you tell them apart?

This is the ITR one correct?

Notice the notchs to mount the wheel are horizontal.
Here's an EK9 wheel, notice how they're vertical. Pay attention to this, no other way to tell.

. the pic you posted is the non srs one. i think the rare one is the itr w/ airbag wheel. it looks like the ctr one, but something w/ the mounting is different.
