Can somebody suggest what might be causing a whistle or whining sound that comes and goes from my dashboard AC vent? I recently had AC work at the Honda dealership. After-Market Evap Core, Compressor and drier were installed--almost a total overhaul. The system blows cool, alright, but I am getting a whistle tone that comes on for a few seconds, fades, then returns, seemingly in a cycle, but one that is not entirely predictable. My '94 Honda does not have a cabin filter, so that's not an issue as it is for some vehicles. Any ideas out there as to what might be causing this?
