Hi, I have noticed that the radiator fan is not going in when the temp reaches to normal. I have replaced the Temperature coolant sensor(the one that is located in the Thermostat housing) and also replaced the plug that goes in the coolant sesnsor.
When i jump the coolant sensor plug, the fan comes on.
Any one would know what the problem might be? i have not bled the coolant system and the car had been standing in a garage for 4 years.
car is a 1.5Vtec Delsol

The fan switch is usually located on the thermostat housing.
Hi, the car is a 1.5Vtec delsol.
I havent gone too far with the car but it dosent seem to be overheating, unless i drive it for a long journey i guess.
I drove the car for about 5 minutes and then kept it on for another 20 minutes, the temp gauge was showing a little below midway. i dont want to drive it for a long distance as i want to avoid damaging the engine.

Fan doesn't really do anything while the car is at speed. The fan shouldn't come on at "normal" temp, stock it doesn't turn on until ~200°F then back off at ~190°F. You've really already narrowed it down to the fan switch by jumping that connector. Replace the switch and check your work.
If you really really want to bench test the switch:
midway, as it used to be when the fan used to come on.
Based on the information provided, you don't seem to have an engine cooling or radiator fan issue. You might try bleeding the cooling system, but it's unclear you have a problem that requires solving.
Im not quite sure what you mean by 1.5 Vtec, what year is this sol?
The temp gauge should sit right about at midway, and stay there. My Sols radiator fan very rarely comes on seems only when i let it idle for very long amounts of time. Although i am running an aftermarket aluminum duel core half rad so that may have something to do with it.
What brand of thermostat do you have installed in the thermostat housing ? Bubbles in the cooling system and a lack of heated water weeping through the thermostat can cause a lack of proper temperature to close the fan control thermo switch. If you are sure that the fan switch sensor you have replaced is good, then it has to be a fluid flow issue.

Thank you for your reply. Do you know what the resistance should be on the multi-meter? as in the instructions there is written to measure the resistance between the two terminals.

I have bled the system but i dont think that it had any air, however after about 25 minutes the fan kicked in for a few minutes , so i guess that as the engine bay was feeling hot i pretended that the fan should have kicked in before but i guess i was wrong.
During this procedure, the car was at a stand still and reved a few times.
