When car last ran it had dsm 450cc injectors, I then exchanged those injectors for a refurbished set of the same injectors. New injectors appear to not fit the clips that were on the car when it last ran. Questions... What style clip is show in my image? ODB1 or ODB2? What would need to be modified to make these injectors and or clips work? The shop I bought the injectors (New England Injector) says that usually the clip on the injector side needs to be trimmed. Is this true? Any help on this issue would be appreciated. It's one of the last problems I need to solve to start the car after 10 plus years. If you want more pics to help just let me know.

Reason: More info
You have OBD-1 style fuel injector clips in your first photo. The injectors that you removed AND the new packaged fuel injectors have the same OBD-0 type clips, however, the older ones have been slightly modified to work with the OBD-1 injector clips and the new injectors haven't yet. The fix is simple: There is a small locator tab inside the injector plug at the 6 o-clock position between the two metal male pins... cut this off with a razor knife and they will plug in just fine.

Which tab should be cut? Red or green?
