Default Jdm fog switch wiring, need help, please.

Hello all,
i am in need of some help. I purchased a jdm fog switch and would like to use it on my 98 civic with ebay fog kit.
The ebay fog kit is already installed. I wanted to swap the switch so it would match the interior better.
the jdm switch have 5 wires and i have no idea what they are.
Th ebay switch have four.
can someone help me decode them so i can match up the correct wires?
Please see photos.
Thank you

The original USDM/CDM 96-00 Honda Civic fog light switch only has three wires.

Have you already installed the relay and inline fuse?

Do the JDM switch and eBay switch have an indicator light as shown in the circuit diagram?

If the system was previously working with the eBay switch, then tell us what the 4 switch wires were connected to.

And you can figure out how the JDM switch works by doing pairwise continuity tests with the switch turned ON or OFF. The Red/Wht wire almost surely gets power from the combination light switch via the inline fuse.

There's no need to guess if you know how the eBay switch was wired, and you do some logical continuity tests on the JDM switch with a multimeter.

Do the JDM switch and eBay switch have an indicator light as shown in the circuit diagram?

Ýes. Both have indicator light.
i was probing around earlier with a test light and here is the result. On the ebay switch.
Turning the parking light on (i may have us the parking light as power source, with an inline fuse, to power on the fog) i get power to the 2 yellow wire. Probe light lit up.
the red wire only lit up or get power when the switch is press in (turning on fog and off).
Blue does nothing. Blue could be the ground.

I did the continuity test on the jdm switch and these 3 wires have continuity. Blu/red to Blu/Blk will beep. Blu/red to Red/white will beep. Blu/blk to Red/white will also beep.

The other 2 have 0 continuity.

Are the three wires colored Red/Wht, Blu/Blk, and Blu? If so, do these three Ohm measurements with switch BOTH turned ON and turned OFF:
1) Red/Wht to Blu/Blk
2) Red/Wht to Blu
3) Blu/Blk and Blu

Post the 6 Ohm readings.

FYI - One of the wires that you excluded may be the ground wire for the light.

The wires are as followed. Left to right. From photo below.
blu/red...blu/wht...rd/wht...grn/blk...blu/blk

I did 1 more continuity test. With the switch depressed (out) there is a beep on red/wht and Blu/red.

Based on your test results:

Blu/Blk from switch connects both to power from combination switch and also to the switched side of relay (pin 3).

Red/Wht from switch connects to activator side of relay (pin 2).

Blu/Red (for switch light) from switch connects directly to the ground wire on the activator side of the relay (pin 4). Verify this conclusion in the fog light switch by supplying 12V to Blu/Blk wire and ground to Blu/Red wire. The light should turn ON and OFF by toggling the switch.

Pin 1 on the switched side of the relay supplies power to the fog lights.

See edited circuit diagram below.
