Default Where does the battery ground cable bolt to?

Just picked up this car a few days. 1992 2 door LX accord manual. Not sure if they came with different engines, but it has a 4 cylinder.

Going through all the grounds i discovered the main ground cable on the battery was not bolted to anything. Does anyone know where it's supposed to bolt to?

That suppose to bolt to T3 (which is on the transmission) at the right front of the engine compartment.

T3 is where it mounts for an automatic. Just re-read that your car is a manual; it wouldn't be attached to the transmission there.

I've looked on the block for a spot, but haven't found one that looks correct.

For your manual transmission, look under the area of the starter.

That photo says it's a transmission ground cable. But there is an open spot, so I'll put the ground cable on it. I appreciate your help, thank you.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that looks like you are grounding it to the body and not the engine/transmission?

If you are grounding it to the body, you should take the time and ground it to the motor/transition.

Were you able to try to attach it to the location on the transmission?

I do have a repair manual out in my 1991 Accord. I will look to see what's in it and post what I find.

Looked over the manual I have for 1990 to 92 and could not find anything on engine ground, or battery ground as to where the ground from the battery should go.

If you call a locale dealer service department and as real nice they my tell you, or the parts department my tell you.
