Opinions Needed: slight scoring on B18B cylinder wall. Long term issue?
hey! I'm fully building an lsvtec with a pr3 head type r springs titanium retainers cp pistons k1 rods and aiming for about 450 wheel. after honing my cylinder walls today, I've found a tiny bit of scoring on cylinder 1. it catches my fingernail pretty easily and im wondering if I could just send it, try my luck pulling one at a junk yard, or hone the living **** out of it.
all advice is welcome and i appreciate all insight. this is my first build and Im just wondering if people here have more experience than I do

imo I think it’ll be ok just to hone it. As long as it’s not exceeding all the way down the cylinder.

that picture was taken after a good while of honing. Im going to go look for blocks tomorrow at a few different yards and go from there. thank you for the input

the proper way is to get oversized pistons and then bore it ( get a machine shop to do that, they’ll measure the pistons and then bore the cylinders to correct size ), since your doin lsv then the oversized pistons will help increase torque/power, 82mm bore would be a good start.
