I have a 2000 honda civic hatch which I got with a d series an transformed manual. I swapped it with a b18b1 LS swap. I jumper harness so I can use a obd1 ecu but it sputters when giving it gas. If I use a d16y8 ob2b ecu it will run fine an drives. What is the problem so I can use the obd1 ecu?

 

You really should not be trying to use any stock single over head cam ecu on a dual over head cam engine.

You have to chip and tune the obd1 ecu to make it run a dual over head cam motor correctly.
