Default Help Plz

So i own a 1997 civic lx sedan. It needs a catalytic converter and exhaust to be smogged, i bought it without either. Problem is i live in cali, and everybody is saying ill have to pay like 2500 for exhaust and cat but im only 19 with no cash like that please help

Only legal option would be getting a converter and exhaust. There are aftermarket CARB compliant converters and exhaust available for less than $2,500. For example, Rock Auto sells CARB compliant converters: https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...converter,5808
