2005 Pilot - something draining the battery?
Bought this 05 Pilot new, and it's been a great vehicle, but now I have a strange issue....
My daughter has the car at school. Last Saturday (September 5th), she calls and tells me the car won't start. Key fob won't unlock door, no lights on dash, turned the key to start and nothing happens.
Battery is 3 years old, and the car sits a lot, so I figured the battery was dead. Car gets jumped, goes to AutoZone and they swap in a new battery and all is good. Distance each way to AutoZone is all of 4 miles and 10 minutes drive time.
She calls me yesterday (September 12th) and the car is dead again. She pops the hood and verifies that the new battery cables are snug on the posts, so it's not a loose battery.
My next thought is that the alternator is bad, but would a battery drain all the way down from a 4 mile ride and then sit in a parking lot for a week?
My other thought is that a light or something else was left on in the car for the whole week, Next plan is to have her get it jumped, sit in it for ~30 minutes and absolutely make sure every light is off when she stops the car.
Anything I'm missing? Anybody have a similar issue?
Thanks in advance

My son has a 2011 Accord. It has a similar drain down issue. Multiple batteries and a rebuilt alternator did not help.
We tried to diagnose with the "locate parasitic draw" technique (measure draw, pull fuses to isolate).
The best he could do was to isolate it to one of the door's circuits and/or the Bluetooth or other wireless support circuit.
For now, when he knows it will be sitting a few days, he will disconnect one of the battery cables. [There are also battery switches available to make this disconnect easier.]
Disconnecting the battery definitely preserves it.

As it turns out, my daughter left a dome light on in the car. It got a jump, and she let it run for ~40 minutes today. Went out to run an errand and it started right up.
