hi i have a gsr block thats damaged and I have a b18b thats missing main caps so I was woundering if i could take the caps girddle and bolts from the gsr and put them on my b18b block. I know I will have to get it aligne hone but I was just woundering if it was possible

 

If you torque the caps down to spec with the girdle in place and have the block Line Honed, then yes, you can use them. You must be very careful not to change the crankshaft centerline by too much because this will place undue stress on the oil pump. The best scenario is a stock capped block... but if that isn't possible, then a Line Hone is the "next best" choice.
