Honda Del Sol Cusco 6 point roll cage mounting location pics
Hi this is my Del Sol I fitted my Cusco 6 point roll cage and before I got the cage I couldn’t find the mounting points pics wise from anywhere online so I just took the time out to take some pics for those that are looking or how and where the mounting points are. Note all interior pieces can be installed back into to car. The rear will have to be very detailed compartment wise to fit which I will do. Again this is just for those that want picture references as I will update as I continue the install as I want to customize my rear interior to make inter as oem looking or stock panels as possible

what hardware did you use?
I don’t but I will go ahead and do so the cage comes with Everything needed the mounting plates for the underside of car along with bolts as the cage sits but when I mount it which I’m just waiting on my sparco seat brackets to come so I make sure all is good before bolting cage down.

Thank you for sharing, please do document the actual mounts both top side and underside with hardware etc. This will prove most helpful for those searching in the future.

This is true for everyone regardless, Taxes and Death are two givens. Now if you are saying he's going to die because of a roll cage..... Well, that's conjecture.

Nice cage but imo it looks like it takes away a good amount of cabin space especially for a sol
from what I tried it seems that there is one last click sliding back wide that I couldn’t stock seat wise...I can’t say for any aftermarket seats. I am 6’4 and it was fine to me and I’m tall for sure you can let the seat back part back damn near all the way. Space is not bad any cage is going to take away space in that sense but I’m ok with it there is enough space

I think maybe stock seat wise if that cover on the side is removed maybe it won’t be in the way and you can slide it that last click...I’m going to have aftermarket seats so i don’t think I’ll have to worry

Hello all this is upgraded pics I’m posting after modifying my rear cabin interior I have only seen a few pics of this cage in Del sols but most of the time the rear interior is left out and gutted not sure if people didn’t think about the depth of attempting to get the interior in but I did this morning and I was stoked by how decent it came out...a few more touches I will do to it to clean up but overall I think it came out nice. I will update when I bolt in I just wanted to get everything mocked up and in place before bolting down and finalizing it. Had to remove the lid from the compartment and notch out the corners needed. A closer pic of the notch out. Able to open lid enough to get my hand in and out to grab whatever so functional still With all rear interior in besides roof piece that can go on no problem Nice and snug but fit perfect

that’s dope that you took the time out to log in and reply. I would have done the same. There are no reel in depth pics of something like this it’s either just showing front of cage or stripped out interior and no back shots. I just had to think outside the box and worked it out I believe this is the only pics and detailed info for the 6 point Cusco cage out there...oh and your welcome 🙏🏽

yeah top is not in the way of cage at all, it clears and to be honest it will probably have a little more clear once I bolt the cage down especially if I do it under the carpet but even bolted on top of carpet as it sits it clears...I would assume Cusco does use it track wise so they would have to make sure the top can go on the car and it does otherwise I wouldn’t see the cage selling at all...I wanted something bolt in that I could remove which is nice versus a weld in cage that would have to be cut up to get out if needed

Just curious.
currently I’m still building up car, there was no plans to track it at all just build, show and drive every now and then as it won’t be a daily drive. Cage strengthens car especially with the top off so at the very least it’s to strengthen the chassis while driving
Re: Honda Del Sol Cusco 6 point roll cage mounting location pics
I’m currently doing a rhd conversion on my de Sol you can follow the build here as I will be posting the build but you can also follow me on you tube @ corey moto or Instagram @jdmek100 for build pics as well
