I need tips/tricks to remove a seized coil pack
Long story short the wife over heated the car on the way home. It got so hot the dipstick melted in half but it was running when she got home so maybe it can be salvaged. Anyway I can't even test the cylinders for compression because the coil pack for #2 and #3 cylinder are seized into the spark plug tubes. I think they have melted in there. I have twisted them. I have cut off the piece that bolts them down so I can spin them all the way around and they will not budge. I need some tips and tricks to get these suckers out so I can proceed to some basic troubleshooting.
I have seen this and I have a feeling a torch and or a drill is going to be involved. Problem is I will not have good access to the spark plug tube. There is no access to the spark plug tubes if you remove the valve cover. I'm going to try to heat it from underneath of the tubes from the outside.
