Hi guys. I have a 5 speed K20a tranny. What would be the best motor to match it with? I'm also going to boost it. All help, and advice would help. TIA.

 

You're doing it backwards.

Pick your engine, decide what you're going to do to it, then build the transmission. Ideally you would dyno it first so you can select proper gearing, then drive it and adjust the gearing after reviewing datalogs.

 

Cool. The only problem is I already bought the 5 speed Tranny. I heard that all K family will bolt on. Planning to boost it but for now, just a bolt on. Can I use this 5 speed Tranny on K24's?

 

Yes, you can use it on all K's except the current model.
